Our web site is getting pulled together these days. I posted web galleries that are not public to the site and sent the link to a customer today. I also added photographs to the gallery for maternity pictures. I can’t figure out how to “edit” the gallery and put the pictures in a different order yet.
Here’ the link to see a family’s pictures http://www.geitgey.com/previews/Coleman-2/
I am looking forward to sharing some of our new cards, the SC LDS Temple pictures, and babies!

Hello Friends!
We hope you are enjoying the Holiday Season this year. We are finally getting a few decorations up and getting ready for a few days off from work.
If you’ve dropped in you’ve noticed there have been no blog updates recently. I’ve been busy working at local high schools as a teacher for two different teachers who are out for a number of weeks. In November I went in for one who had emergency foot surgery. Just as I wrapped up 2.5 weeks for that assignment I started Thanksgiving week for maternity leave I had commmited to do earlier this year. This one will keep me busy through most of January. The kids are great at the schools and I am enjoying teaching. However,I really miss photography!!! Warren and I have done some Christmas family portraits and maternity portraits during this time and have just barely had time to take care of those commitments in addition to our “full time” work. The teaching is proving to be much more exhausting than I ever remember it being. Sometimes I’m in bed before 8 p.m.! There has not been a minute to do another thing including post to the blog.
We are working on a new and improved website at Geitgey.com. We’ve been using PhotoReflect for a number of years but recent changes on its design are making it less serviceable except for events but not portraits, etc. Actually the service has added a lot more to the “behind the scenes” side for us photographers who subscribe to it, but that has also complicated using it to the point of losing efficiency. They also has dropped the option for our clients to enlarge previews to full screen size and it is difficult to chose a family portrait and check expressions on the limited size viewable now on the site and associating number with previews is harder. We will miss it, but will soon just use our own site except for a large event like a dance or a team event.
I hope to add to this post again during the holidays. Stay tuned. RuthElln
