2009 Charitable Photography
Posted by rgeitgey on 23rd January 2009
Warren and I decided to get actively involved in Charitable Photography during 2009. We just learned we have been accepted by Think Pink Photography which was founded in 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. Through ThinkPink Photography , a charitable organization and network of photographers, we will helping breast cancer patients, survivors, and their supporters to celebrate life with photography sessions to document the fight before or during treatment and/or to celebrate the victory when treatment is completed. Participating clients receive complimentary sessions and a set of twenty (20) small prints from their sessions. Additional prints, if ordered, are discounted and there are opportunities to donate portions of sales to help families in this fight. Donations and funds generated through various fund raising efforts of Think Pink and Think Pink Photographers are made directly to The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation in Atlanta, Ga. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer and is a registered non-profit organization. See www.beverlyfamilyfoundation.org for more information. If you are breast cancer patient or family member you may contact us regarding a session at info@geitgey.com. We will be participating in other ways for non-patients and family to contribute to the cause through our photography sessions and services. Visit the Think Pink Photography site by clicking here on the banner.
